It Comes From The Roots

is a 3D relaxing game, where the goal is to nurture the roots of the tree to help it grow and become a fully mature tree. The player will be challenged to maintain the status of the roots to be healthy because, over time, the roots will demand their needs such as enough water, and enough sunlight. Unpredictable seasons will also occur like summer and winter which will increase the level of challenge for the player. Players also have the ability to control the skies, like providing a rain cloud to the plant and controlling the sunlight from the sun. But players are limited in using these resources because these can only be bought from the shop with root points that will be provided by the roots. It's up to the player to manage their gathered resources, spend them wisely, and keep while keeping the roots healthy until it will grow and become fully mature.

This  game was made during Global Game Jam 2023.
